Hey All,
I believe Mitch mentioned the other day about having problems or success about photo blending. I did some blending in Photomatix. Heres what i came up with:

First both photos had to be the same dimensions.

I took a pic of monument valley at night:

I then took a pic of the moon in my back yard and made sure it was in the upper right hand corner:

I used the blend photos option in Photomatix. I messed around with the controls to determine the proper blend. When I got the output I did a crop. Heres the final:

N-Joy!!!

Pretty good stuff on using ND filters:
http://aaronreedphotography.wordpress.com/2009/03/23/using-neutral-density-filters-to-enhance-your-photography/

Good Wiki stuff:

I'm thinking about getting a set for each lens: a .3, .6 and .9 - Read the articles above. They have sets on amazon for cheap!!!

All - check this out:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/48853-REG/Smith_Victor_401430_KT_500U_Photoflood_Tungsten_Light.html

I was looking at it. Only 112 for a cheap light kit. Thought I'd give it a try.

Opinions?
